MTU University Gives Internships to Students

Mahkota Tricom Superior University (MTU) once again provides opportunities for students to take part in internships.
"Giving internships to students to be able to improve their soft skills," said the Chancellor of MTU University, Dr. Dompak Pasaribu, S.E., M.Sc., CPA, CACP at Campus A Grand Jati Junction Building Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan No. 3A Medan, Wednesday (7/6).
He said universities not only produce graduates with satisfactory academic grades, but also have expertise, so they are able to answer the needs of the world of work.
Therefore, he continued, universities must be able to see the needs of the world of work. Moreover, with the development of technology, the needs of the world of work have changed. Many needs for the world of work have disappeared because they have been replaced by technology and with the presence of technology many needs for the world of work have emerged.
"MTU University is ready to answer the needs of the world of work with its study programs, namely Digital Business, Management, Agribusiness, Information Systems, Information Technology and Accounting study programs," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the MTU Student Affairs Section, Roni Juliansyah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd explained that there are two types of internships for students, namely creative media for three months with supervisors Eka Martyna Theodora, S.E., M.M and Nidya Banuari, S.M.,M .Si and telemarketing for two months with Deby Siska Oktavia Pasaribu, S.E.,M.Ak and Duhu Telaumbanua, S.E.
Students who get the opportunity to do an internship first through selection. From the results of the selection made for creative media, M. Naufal Kamal, Royanti L Lumban Gaol and Umm Nadra Sitio from the Digital Business study program were selected. Selected telemarketing was Rhiana Handini from the Digital Business study program, Melvin Ekaryawani Zendrato from the Agribusiness study program and Jefri Pranata from the Management study program.
