PT Mahkota Group Tbk through its subsidiary PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari which is located on the Pekanbaru cross road, Sam Sam Village, Kandis District, Siak Regency, Riau Province returned to caring action, helping medics as the front guard against the corona virus (Covid-19) by handing over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of medical clothing at the Covid-19 Emergency Response Post in Kandis Regency, Monday, April 13, 2020.

The assistance was handed over by Budiono as Office Manager of PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari, and received by Kandis Sub-District Head Said Irwan and accompanied by the Head of Kandis Health Center, Dr. H. Aulia Kallista to be distributed to hospitals around Kandis District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. “We hope that the PPE assistance in the form of medical clothing can help medics as the front guard to fight to treat patients who are positive for the corona virus. Hopefully the assistance provided can make medics work calmly with PPE equipped. No more medical workers should die because of the corona virus,” said Budiono.

Meanwhile, Kandis Sub-District Head Said Irwan appreciated the steps taken by PT Mutiara Unggul Lestari to provide PPE in the form of medical clothing which is currently needed. “We will immediately distribute this assistance to hospitals that need PPE,” he said.
