​In an effort to strengthen ties and increase social awareness during the holy month of Ramadan, PT KPNJ held a communal iftar and provided assistance to orphans in an event organized within the company’s premises.

The event was attended by representatives of the local village government, representatives of the company’s partnership from SPSI, the company’s management, PT KPNJ employees, as well as members of the surrounding community.

The event took place in an atmosphere full of togetherness and kinship. All participants sat together listening to a religious sermon from an ustadz while waiting for the time to break the fast. This momentum served as an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the company, the village government, the company’s partnership, the community, and all employees who have long contributed to supporting the company’s operational activities.

After breaking the fast together, the series of activities continued with the congregational Maghrib prayer. A solemn and warm atmosphere of togetherness could be seen among all participants who took part in the worship with deep gratitude. As part of the event, PT KPNJ also provided donations to orphans as a form of the company’s social concern for the surrounding community.

This activity is one form of the company’s commitment to carrying out its social responsibility while also sharing happiness during the holy month of Ramadan. On that occasion, Rahmat, as Mill Manager of PT KPNJ, stated that this activity was not only a moment of sharing, but also a means to strengthen the relationship between the company, the village government, the company’s partnership from SPSI, employees, and the surrounding community.

“Through this communal iftar and assistance for orphans, we hope to strengthen the bonds of friendship and foster the spirit of togetherness and social care, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan,” said Rahmat, Mill Manager of PT KPNJ.

At the same time, Ilham Septi Sumantri, S.E., S.H., as Legal of PT KPNJ, added that this activity is also part of the company’s commitment to building harmonious relationships with the community and village government around the company’s operational area.

“We hope activities like this can continue to be carried out sustainably as a form of the company’s concern for the social environment and to strengthen synergy between the company, the village government, the company’s partnership, and the community,” he said.
