MAHKOTA GROUP (MGRO) IS OPTIMISTIC THAT BY THE END OF THIS YEAR IT WILL START EXPORTING CPO

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Mahkota Group Tbk (MGRO) plans to export crude palm oil (CPO) products this year. The plan, MGRO will start exporting after its palm oil mill starts operating in July.
Mahkota Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Usli Sarsi said, currently MGRO is building a palm oil refinery in the Dumai area, Riau. The plant is prepared to produce 1,500 tons of CPO per day.
In addition, the new plant will also produce kernel crushing plant (KCP) which will be operated afterwards, as much as 400 tons per day. “We built the factory on an area of about three hectares,” he told Kontan.co.id, Thursday (24/1).
Although he still doubts that the export plan can be carried out immediately in July, after the factory starts operating, Usli ensures that at least by the end of 2019, the export target for CPO and its derivatives can be realized.
To support this target, MGRO has also prepared a capital expenditure (capex) of IDR 200 billion. With such a large capex, MGRO targets to achieve revenue of around IDR 5 trillion and net profit of IDR 123 billion.
